The following is a statement from Reid Ribble, 8th Congressional Candidate for Congress:
“Today’s unemployment numbers continue to highlight the disastrous management of the economy by this Congress. As a businessman who has actually created jobs, there are a lot more efficient ways to put people back to work and improve the economy. Continuing to spend our children’s and grandchildren’s future and increase the deficit is unconscionable.”
“The discussion during the votes on the so-called “stimulus package” emphasized the need to get more people to work. According to the federal government, only 351.6 jobs were created for the 8th Congressional District at a cost of $250 million. Northeastern Wisconsin deserves better investment of taxpayer dollars.”
